We are off to see the Wizard…oh wait no we are off to the mall..my bad…

Hello and Happy Friday dear readers. (Yes I know this is really Thursday but you don’t) So the weekend is upon us and I am sad.  This means my vacation is nearing its end.  I am so sad and depressed but I do miss my co-workers so I hope it won’t suck to bad.  However I know it will.  I hope to work my rear end for tips to help buy Christmas.  So if I fix you a waffle please be kind to the poor waffle maker.  So if you read my blog yesterday and I know several of you have had the misfortune of reading my Thursday rant know that I am in Huntsville with “sick” kids and trying to pretend to be an average every day family.  So if we pretend we don’t know you it is because hey we are an average everyday family.  I am just kidding because I know if you saw us at the mall you would haul butt the other way and I can’t blame you.  I would run like H*ll the other way too.  So we are going to the mall on Friday morning.  That is the only time I could convince the kids to be seen with us.  No I am kidding…we couldn’t get them to agree to Friday morning either but tough luck for them.  It isn’t like they will know anyone there since it is 45 minutes away.  So here is how we break the yearly Christmas shopping down.  We all go to the mall.  My husband, children, my mother and I go inside.  At the mall we split up one kid per adult.  So all of a sudden I must have body order or something in my teeth because NO ONE wants to go with me.  They fight over my mother and my husband.  Ok this is like kicking someone while they are down.  I am MOM for the love of God.  I pushed these children from my female parts and not a one of them wants to be stuck with me.  So I try to keep my chin up and not feel bad but then not only do they not want to go with me then the one that HAS to go with me pouts the entire shopping experience.  Have you shopped for two hours with a kid who doesn’t really want to be with you?  It is this side of hell for me.  For a brief second the idea of hiding behind a rack becomes a great idea but then that stupid “good mommy” thing kicks in and I HAVE to stay with them.  So after the mall we go to stores we don’t have in our one-horse town.  For example Best Buy, Target, Hell R’ Us…oops I mean Toy’s R Us…..you get my drift.  So we spend an entire day being a family.  No computers, phones, TV’s just the family….Ok this might be a bad idea….if I don’t blog Saturday then you might have to come bail me out……
