Watch where you step!

Well hello dear readers I hope your Friday is going well.  Some of you are lucky and it is the end of the work week for us losers it is just another day.  To start off I want to apologize for my blog yesterday.  My sleep medication was going strong.  I can’t even remember what I complained about yesterday so I will go ahead and say “I’m Sorry”.  Well it is Friday and the last day of school till next year.  So I have been running my butt off. (Lord I wish it was that easy to run your butt off but NOOOO it has to be hard and you have to be hungry) I had to work and cleaned up and slid out of there right at 9:30 and drove a little to fast to my youngest school for a 9:30 brunch Christmas party.  I get to the school and luck up on a parking place.  I know that sounds simple to do but parking and traffic were so bad we had two police officers directing traffic.  Yes I know our tax dollars at work but I am glad they were there.  I get out and do the cell phone Marco Polo with my husband.  As I enter the building a little boy was at the door announcing “There is puke in there”.  He continued on with his duty of the bearer of puke news.  Then I had forgotten where my daughter’s classroom was and I wondered the big circle of a school only to realize I went the wrong way.  Her school is a huge circle with a playground in the middle and all the doors locked.  So I get to the room for about 15 minutes and we were out of there.  We then broke our necks to get over to my son’s school.  My husband leaves me and my baby girl at the school and went to pick up the gifts from the Christmas Love program.  I just want to say this one thing about Christmas gift programs.  I am so thankful to the entire angel’s” who donated gifts so that my children will have a wonderful Christmas.  If you have the means please always consider adopting a child for Christmas.  You will never know how grateful a mom like me will be.  So may God bless all of those who gave. Back to the Christmas party saga.  One thing is when you step inside a school you lose you identity.  You are no longer Rachel or Mrs. Bryant (yes that is for the bill collector’s I am dodging) you become so and so’s mom.  I am either Jade’s mom, Storm’s mom, or Jasmine’s mom.  It is as if I don’t exist within those halls.  You do not have to worry this is Rachel and no one’s mom just plain old Rachel.  So we checked the two kids out and the oldest is still in school.  She had semester tests and he best friend is moving today so she wanted to be with her.  My heart is breaking for her.  Her boyfriend decided that he liked her friend more.  Now see this is where you are going to see my “insane” flag a flying.  My first instinct was to slap him upside the back of his little head. (Yes that is a southern term and we have this action down to a science) So I took a deep breath to stop myself from getting out of the van. My next thought is how in the hell can I get revenge on a 12 year old boy without going to jail.  I know she was trying to be tough and not let it show how upset she was.  However when I looked at her and saw that sad and devastated look cross those beautiful eyes of her I decided it would be worth going to jail.  Then too piss gas on the fire (yes this too is a southern thing) my youngest daughter got a boyfriend yesterday.  Now you have to understand that my youngest is 7 years old.  I had no desire for boys at that age so it just goes without saying the World does change.  Well dear readers I am letting you off the hook for the day.  I worked my breakfast shift and I have to go back in tonight and work third shift.  So I am sure I will be talking with you in the middle of the night.  So on that note I want to thank all the angels who will put smiles on my children’s face.  I pray the angels will smile down on these “angels”.
